So along came the Saturday at this years Hevy Festival and HTF were honoured to have the opportunity to interview hardcore legends The Dillinger Escape Plan. As these guys are such a genuine asset to the hardcore scene by arguably inventing their own genre of music, it was inevitable we were a bit nervous! Hundreds of bands worldwide have taken a huge influence by these guys and most say the reason they love this style of music is because of this very band!
With that in mind Steph HTF was obviously a bit weak at the knees at thought of meeting these guys, but not once did she anticipate what was about to go down!
Watch below as we chat to frontman Greg Puciato and lead guitarist Ben Weinman about their set at this years Hevy Festival, how they feel being such an influence to so many bands and if they are planning anything untoward on stage! Little did we know they were going to reverse the interview half way through! Intrigued? Watch our interview below…
