Danny Leal, frontman of US metal four-piece Upon A Burning Body was reported to be missing last night following the band posting an online statement via Twitter and Facebook which said: ‘Breaking News: Danny Leal (singer of Upon A Burning Body) has been reported missing. He was last seen in his home town of San Antonio TX on Monday, June 30th.’
This came after the frontman left mysterious tweets via his Twitter account including: ‘This same sketchy car has been driving past my house over and over for the past 3 days straight.’
It was later revealed by the band’s record label Sumerian Records that Leal’s disappearance was in fact a hoax. Read the label’s full statement below here:
