The Morning After shocked a number of people with their first album ‘You Cant Hurt Steel’, which was a 10 track extravaganza mixing classic British metal, American hair metal and contemporary heavy music into something magnificent. With backing from Total Rock Radio and KERRANG! the band managed to get their sound out into the world and were eventually signed by JVC in Japan, and ultimately managed to get their album in the top 10 there.
The band have toured immensely over the past few years, playing Download Festival and sharing the stage with Steel Panther at the Metal Hammer Awards Party, and they’re just anxious to get back on the road and tour some more, now that their next album ‘LEGACY’ is finished recording.
They’re touring with London based power metal band Neonfly who have really started to make a name for themselves, with a number of festival appearances over Europe and the UK, such as Bloodstock, they’ve won a number of fans over the last couple of years and are soon to win over more, with their song ‘Ship With No Sails‘ being showcased on the video game Rock Band, and with their debut album almost recorded it’s almost almost incredible how they’ve grown.
