2014 will mark the 9th annual Slam Dunk Festival.
This year’s 3 day festival will take place in Leeds, Hatfield and Wolverhampton, with 7 indoor and outdoor stages showcasing the talent of huge rock bands. You already knew about The All-American Rejects, Less Than Jake, Letlive and Mallory Knox. We’re sure you’ve heard that The Ghost Inside, Kids In Glass Houses and Bury Tomorrow are set to destroy the Slam Dunk stages… but here is the latest line-up announcement.
Joining the festival’s headliner act, The All-American Rejects, are Verses. The Brighton based quartet are currently touring the UK with LostAlone and are set to release their debut album ‘Feel It Faster’ on the 26th May.
The second announcement, is that Birmingham Pop Punk band Light You Up are going to join the already massive line up. The band has attended the festival as onlookers for years. Here’s what they said about playing this year: “We’ve been coming to Slam Dunk for years and we’re delighted to be invited to play this year! Every year has a great party atmosphere and I’m sure this year will be no different! Bring it on!”
