Simple Plan have let slip a very exciting piece of news today. Yep, that’s right guys, the Canadian band have teamed up with Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus and the floppy-haired All Time Low frontman, Alex Gaskarth, to write brand new material. It’s the pop-punk dream we’ve all been waiting for.
Simple Plan frontman, Pierre Bouvier, announced the news on his Instagram account today with an excited statement that reads: “Good f****** morning folks!!! Psyched about today! Gonna write some tunes with Alex Gaskarth and Mark Hoppus today!”. We don’t know who is more excited about this turn of events, Pierre or us at Hit The Floor.
No one is sure when fans will get to hear the godly collaboration, but we’re hoping that it’ll be for the highly anticipated follow up to Simple Plan’s 2011 album ‘Get Your Heart On!’. Come on Pierre and co, don’t leave us hanging too long!
