The votes are in and the final eight bands winning a slot on the Download stage have been announced.
The public voted for the top 100 out of 700 bands from all over the country, who went through to a judging panel who then narrowed it down to 15. From there, the hopefuls undertook a professional studio session at Red Bull Studios in London, and the public voted again for their final six following the posting of a short film of each bands’ performance.
The final two ‘wildcard’ places were chosen by the judges.
The bands will be play the Red Bull Studios stages at Download festival on 14-16th June to thousands.
