Pink Floyd Confirm New Album

Pink Floyd are back after 20 years, read here to hear about their new album plans.

After twenty years out, today Pink Floyd confirmed their release of a new album.

The band posted a statement that read, “It is an album of mainly ambient and instrumental music based on the 1993/4 Division Bell sessions which feature David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright…The album is produced by David Gilmour with Phil Manzanera, Youth and recording engineer Andy Jackson.” 

They continued to say, “Work is still in progress but more details to come at the end of the summer,” 

The album is set to be released in October 2014, “The Endless River”, which will be in around the time of the 20th anniversary of the last Floyd album The Division Bell.
