It’s not everyday you hear of a split EP…but for UK rock band, Moose Blood, it’s where it all started.
The emo/rock group, which hail from Canterbury, England have been with No Sleep Records since 2012. The group recently split an EP with Departures, but they’ve only now officially announced their signing.
The band will enter the studio this week this week to record their debut full-length album, which will be released later this year. This will be the debut for Moose Blood.
The group defines themselves by their style as laid back. The group’s Facebook page simply defines them as “4 friends drinking coffee and writing songs.”
“No Sleep is collectively one of our favourite record labels and we’re stoked to be a part of the roster,” says drummer Glenn Harvey. “We can’t wait to have the record we’ve spent the last year and a half writing be released on such a great label.”
There is no official release date, or title for the upcoming album.
