Metal titans Megadeth have been announced as the Sunday headliners at 2014’s Bloodstock Open Air Festival.
The band will be joining the already-announced headliners Down and Emperor at the Derbyshire event which runs from the 7th-10th August 2014.
Of the announcement, frontman Dave Mustaine says: “2014 is the 20th Anniversary for ‘Youthanasia’, and we are celebrating that by headlining the Bloodstock Festival in the glorious UK. Every year MEGADETH and our UK fans get closer and celebrate another year of metal greatness together. This is the beginning of 2014…the best is yet to come.”
Tickets for the event are already on sale, with early bird weekend tickets coming to just £115! Once these ridiculously cheap tickets are gone, tickets will go back up to full price, so snap them up now here.
