Over the past few days, details have been added little by little about a ‘secret’ gig to feature Arcane Roots and Lower Than Atlantis. Today the full plans were revealed, and the two bands will be playing acoustic sets in Camden on Tuesday 19th August.
The event is part of a collaboration between Fender and Transport for London to celebrate ‘The Year of the Bus’ – that is to say it’s been 60 years since the creation of the now-iconic Routemaster, while the Fender collaboration comes from it being the 60th year of the Stratocaster model.
The concert will kick off at 5pm, with a location released only as NW1 8QW. Type that into Google Maps and you get the Leybourne Road/A252 area, and much more likely, The Castlehaven Open Space. To top it all off, the gig is completely free.
