Massachusetts Metalcore kings Killswitch Engage have announced a special, one-off headline show at Santos Party House on Saturday 12th October, as part of the 2013 CBGB Festival in New York City. Support will come from Eye Ra Haze, and the show is sponsored by The Merciless Book of Metal Lists.
The Author of The Merciless Book of Metal Lists, Howie Abrams, has said “This was originally going to be a secret show for our book release back in the Spring, but schedules didn’t allow for it, so we stayed on it, and decided to do it for CBGB Fest. Killswitch Engage is one of my favorite bands; one which has reinvigorated metal in recent years, and we’re proud to be working with them to make this great night happen.”
Proceeds from the show will go towards The FC Foundation, a special organisation who raise awareness and educate people about early cancer detection, helping to end late-stage cancer diagnoses.
If you’re local, tickets are available now and are priced at $25.
