When Fightstar announced they were getting back together again for a reunion a couple of months ago, there was a lot of uproar about how it was a one off show and purely in London. That show will actually take place next Tuesday at the London Forum. Now, the lovely guys in Fightstar have given us an early Christmas present. Three more dates have been announced for February next year, in Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.
Joined with the fantastic news, is some quite unfortunate news as well. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the added London date, happening on Monday 15th December has been postponed and placed with the rest of the shows in their mini February reunion tour. This also means that We Are The Ocean are unable to perform, as they have already planned activities around that time.
Concious to the fact a number of individuals will have been coming from abroad to partake in the reunion show in Brixton, the band have pledged that if you show proof of your travel arrangements and hotel bookings they will endeavour to try and help cushion the financial blow that people will have felt. This is an incredible act of generosity and something which really they had no need to do, purely on the fact that it was not the fault of the band themselves that they’ve had to postpone.
The Fightstar reunion dates are now as follows:
Tuesday 16th December – Forum – London w/ More Dangerous Animal, Take The VII (SOLD OUT)
Monday 23rd February – Institute – Birmingham w/ More Dangerous Animal, Cytota
Tuesday 24th February – ABC – Glasgow w/More Dangerous Animal, Cytota
Wednesday 25th February – Academy – Manchester w/More Dangerous Animal, Cytota
Thursday 26th February – Brixton Academy – London w/More Dangerous Animal, Cytota
