Devil You Know have revealed that they have finally completed writing, recording and producing their much-anticipated self-titled debut album. There is no definite release date announced for the album yet, but the band are said to be hoping for a release by March or April 2014.
Devil You Know have also announced their first tour dates of 2014. The band will kick off their tour in Brisbane, Australia, on 22nd February. This tour will welcome guitarist Roy Lev-Ari and bassist Ryan Wombacher (Bleeding Through) to the band. Devil You Know will also play Soundwave Festival 2014 alongside artists such as Rob Zombie and Avenged Sevenfold.
As well as the aforementioned latest additions, Devil You Know is made up of Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones, All Shall Perish guitarist Francesco Artusato and Devolved drummer John Sankey. The self-titled album was produced by Logan Mader, who has worked with the likes of 5 Finger Death Punch and Gojira in the past, and mixed by Chris ‘Zeuss’ Harris, who is known for his work with Hatebreed and Chelsea Grin.
Jones has said of the new album and tour:
“After a period of being so intensely creative writing and recording the album, it’s exciting to finally take it out on the road. It’s great to have the two new guys. Roy is a great fit. Ryan and I have played tons of shows together in Bleeding Through and Killswitch and have known each other for years.”
