CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK! have returned with a music video for their brand new single ‘Haters Gonna Hate’.
The video, which was filmed in London, portrays a clash between the band playing both a gang of nerds and punks, fighting for the right to play the song.
Describing the video, lead singer Bert Poncert said: “basically, this music video is a gang fight scenario where we see the band battle with themselves for the right to play the song. The band play both punk and nerd versions of themselves. The two “bands” fight themselves with paint and this intensifies over the course of the video until the entire scene is a huge paint fight. Everyone and everything is covered in the paint, no longer so different from one another. Positively unified. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun shooting this music video, the paint fight was obviously a big mess, all of our clothes were ruined and we had to shower for hours afterwards but it was amazing and very funny!”
