After 18 months of silence, Airbourne have announced they will be releasing a new studio album.
‘Black Dog Barking‘ will be the third album from the Australian rockers, and has been produced by award-winning Brian Howes.
The band have kept reasonably quiet since getting off of the road in mid-2011 to work on the record, and the band promise its their best work yet.
One of the tracks, ‘Live It Up‘, will also be used for the launch and promotion of the new ‘Full Throttle‘ rollercoaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in California.
The band will be performing tracks from the album at this years Download Festival in June. We’re expecting big things from this album, but the band remain calm, encouraging fans to “crank it up, crack a beer, and stick some rock ‘n’ roll in your ear!” – consider it done!
