BBC One are to screen a special broadcast of the ‘Sound Of Change’ concert, entitled ‘Beyoncé & Friends Live at Twickenham’.
The show is to be aired on June 1st, live from Twickenham Stadium in London.
Performers include Ellie Goulding, Haim, John Legend, Iggy Azalea, Timbaland, Rita Ora and Laura Pausini, with a special guest appearnace from Jay Z expected during Beyoncé’s set. Madonna has be confirmed to host the event, alongside Blake Lively, Jessica Chastain, Zoe Saldana, author Gloria Steinem and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
The global concert event hopes to put female issues and rights on the world stage, by raising awareness about education, health and justice for women everywhere
