Sir Paul McCartney has announced a string of UK tour dates.

The singer is set to play three shows during May, starting at London’s O2 Arena on 23rd May before heading to Birmingham and Liverpool. The dates will take place before he embarks on the European leg of his tour in June.

About the shows, Sir Paul has said: “It’s always great when you get to play in your home country. It’s been a little while since I’ve performed here so we’re planning a few surprises and looking forward to playing some songs we’ve never played here. “We’ve taken this tour all over the world but there’s nothing quite like rocking out with your home audience. We’ll see you soon.”

Tickets for all three dates will go on sale on Monday 9th March at 9am.

Full list of dates:

23rd May – O2 Arena, London
27th May – Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham
28th May – Echo Arena, Liverpool
