One Direction have been nominated for an MTV EMA award.
The boys are in for a chance of winning the Best UK And Ireland Act at the prestigious ceremony, hosted at Glasgow’s Hydro on November 9. They’re up against Sam Smith, Calvin Harris and Ed Sheeran so far.
A fifth act will soon be announced, with viewers tweeting “#NOMINATE” with the name of their chosen act by September 14 – They have Clean Bandit, Cheryl, Coldplay, The Vamps and The Arctic Monkeys to choose from.
