The last time we spoke to the M.O girls they were just about to hit the road on tour with the almighty Little Mix. Now with the girls brand new single ‘Preach‘ taking over the radio stations, we decided it was time for a well-needed catch-up to find out what’s been happening since and find out all the gossip on what’s happening this year.
We chat to the girls about the single, their upcoming debut album, we find out how Frankee felt when her Beats Pill died on her and discuss what kind of biscuit they would be. All the hard hitting questions and more!

HTF: The last time we caught up with you, you were on the Little Mix tour playing sold out arena’s every night. What did you learn from that experience going forward?
M.O: The tour was amazing, we learnt that there is no better feeling than going in stage to thousands of people every night, our goal is to have our own headline tour.
HTF: After the tour you released ‘Dance On My Own’ which became your first single in the charts. How does it make you feel now being an officially charted girl band in the UK?
M.O: Very exciting & also a bit surreal, we feel so thankful for all the support we have been getting.
HTF: And now you’re new single ‘Preach’ is taking over the music channels and radio. How did you feel when you found out the song had been placed on the Radio 1 A-List?
M.O: Our manager called us whilst we were in rehearsals & we literally screamed down the phone with excitement, it was a good day!
HTF: Why did you feel it was the perfect song to be released next?
M.O: Preach is a different sounding song, when you hear it you automatically think “hmm what’s this” we wanted a song to make people’s ears pop up.
HTF: How will you celebrate if it tops ‘Dance On My Own’ for chart position?
M.O: A big party of course!!
HTF: We hear you’re debut album is coming out this year. What can you tell us about it so far?
M.O: It’s a solid sound, fresh rnb pop, a few surprises on there for you, we can’t wait to get it out there, it’s been 2 years in the making.
HTF: Any potential album title as yet?
M.O: Nothing official but we have had a little discussion amongst ourselves.
HTF: Tell us something about the new album that you have not told anyone else.
M.O: Remember interludes?? We are bringing them back!
HTF: With all that is happening surely you must be thinking about doing a solo tour soon?
M.O: To tour is the dream, we love performing to our fans, when the album is out we will plan to tour.
HTF: What do you hope to have achieved by end of 2015?
M.O: Mostly for an album release, the fans are waiting for it, we can’t wait for people to hear it.
HTF: Frankee, on Jan 5th your Beats Pill died on you. Can you put into words the emotion you felt on that horrific day? Losing a Beats Pill must be hard to deal with.
Frankee: Haha! It was an emotional day! My beats pill goes everywhere with me,even in the bathroom when I take a shower … I think that’s where it got damaged eeeek!

@rachh_64: Since becoming a girl group and starting off in the music industry which is hard to break into, have you always had your family and friends support?
M.O: Always from the start, support from your family is such a big ingredient to have.
@sophnorton – How important are your fans to you?
M.O: Our M.Ob mean the world to us!
@maria_slarmada – If you each had to pick your favourite album of all time, what would it be?
M.O: Usher – confessions!!!
