Pearl Jam To Release A Single With Beyonce?! 5 Other Unlikely Collaborations…That Actually Happened!

MJ and Eddie Muprhy? Yeah that happpened!

Yes, you read that right. Grunge legends Pearl Jam and Queen Be, Beyonce, are to release a collaborative single. The single, a cover of Bob Marley‘s ‘Redemption Song’, will be distributed to members of the band’s Ten Club as part of their holiday season tradition.

The performance harks back to 2015 when Beyonce joined the band for a live performance of the song at that years Global Citizen Festival. Reports that Vedder knows the identity of Becky with the good hair are unconfirmed.

So in celebration of this unlikely union, here’s some other artists who crossed genres and common sense to make sweet (and not so sweet) music. We’ve also gathered some YouTube comments… because they amuse us! 

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds/Kylie Minogue – Where The Wild Roses Grow

It’s actually a very good song. A gloriously macabre waltz/ballad that captures a conversation between murderer Cave and his victim Kylie.

Thankfully perhaps, this is more a Cave song than a Kylie pop hit. Although it’s kinda fun to imagine him covering Can’t Get You Outta My Head
