The Horrors Unleash Two New Songs

The Horrors unveil new material at Truck Festival

Two fresh songs were played by The Horrors, as they headlined this years Truck Festival in Oxfordshire.

Neither tracks were introduced to the crowd, however we’ve come to learn the first was called ‘First Day Of Spring’, and exhibited a dash of electronic dance influence. The second however had a thundering bassline and psychedelic edge, with a slightly more cryptic name to boot, being ‘Elixir Spring’.

The rest of the bands 10 song set was made up of songs from their second and third albums, ‘Primary Colours’ and ‘Skying’. The band opened with ‘Mirrors Image’, before frontman Faris Badwan said: “This is our first time at Truck Festival but I won’t go on about it” in reference to Billy Lunn’s rambling during The Subways‘ set, which preceded The Horrors.

The new album is set to be released in September, and will include ‘First Day Of Spring’ and ‘Elixir Spring’, and will be produced by The Horrors themselves!
