Record Store Day is a wondrous thing. In this digital space-age of Biebers and Cyruses, Record Store Day brings the music industry back down to earth and in the last couple of years has given us loads of cool vinyl from the likes of Arcade Fire, Blur and MGMT, among the gazillions of contributing bands and artists. It is a reminder of what music should be.
This year, one of the more exciting releases will be hypo-groove dreamboats Tame Impala’s ‘Live Versions’ EP which is available from April 19th via Modular. As the title suggests, it’s a live recording of a show they performed in 2013 in Chicago and has the following tracklisting:
