Rumours are spreading like wildfire in certain corners of the internet that Morrissey, once singer of seminal The Smiths but now a lone wolf, is releasing his 10th studio album this summer in late June/ early July. Morrissey and The Smiths enthusiasts, of whom there are many, will be squealing with excitement at this news; but there’s more! The album title is rumoured to be the wonderfully satirical and Morrissey-like ‘World Peace Is None of Your Business’. The record will be released through Harvest Records and was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The Strokes, The Killers) in France.
While waiting for the album to drop, you could insatiate your appetite for the be-quiffed crooner by splashing out on seeing him perform; Morrissey will play Los Angeles Sports Arena (May 10) and Brooklyn Barclays Center (June 21) so start saving for those Virgin Atlantic flight tickets!
