Miles Kane has unveiled the video for the title track from his forthcoming new album ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’, directed by Dan Sully. The black and white masterpiece is set on the streets of Liverpool, with some great hall performance shots in there for good measure.
The single is set for release on June 3rd, and includes B-side ‘Get Right’, which was co-written by Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Kane’s collaborator in The Last Shadow Puppets. The album is also to be released on the same day, and was produced by The Lightning Seeds frontman Ian Broudie, who has previously worked with The Zutons and Echo And The Bunnymen.
Kane recently described ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’ as “big, positive and upbeat”. He added: “That was sort of the blueprint, to make this real upbeat, heavy, catchy album. That’s what I’ve done. I can’t wait for it to get out there.”
