Chad Channing, the early Nirvana drummer has confirmed that he would be up for a reunion with the remaining members of the band. Channing contributed to the band’s first album Bleach and the song ‘Polly’ on Nirvana’s second album before Dave Grohl replaced him.
Chad told NME that he would be interested when asked about reforming. The drummer said:
“Yeah, if they wanted me to. It’d maybe be something like Dave playing guitar and singing and Krist doing bass. That’d be about the only arrangement I could think of that we could pull off.”
This follows after Channing was not inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame with the rest of Nirvana earlier this year, despite originally believing he would be.
Since Nirvana the drummer now fronts the band Before Cars.
