The 1975 have revealed the music video for their latest single ‘Settle Down’.
The track comes from the group’s self-titled debut, and the video brings back the black and white aesthetic of their earlier videos. The colour videos for last year’s singles ‘Sex’ and ‘Girls’ seemed to disappoint fans, with Matt Healy stating: “There’s been a reaction to it. People have really kicked off about it. It’s in colour for a start, and all of our fans are like ‘oh, I preferred the old video’, which is so predictable, it’s sweet. I think what that is, is kids reinstating how cool they are and showing people that they saw us first. I get that. That’s totally cool.”
