Fresh from being named Best New Producer at the Breakbeat Awards, Essex-bred Run Riot is back with a blistering new ep Kill Them and the video for the title track is just as punishing as it sounds!
The new single features vocals from Benji Webbe, from Nu-Reggae stalwarts Skindred. And it’s clear to see that the heavier sound of Skindred‘s Punk/Reggae credentials have carried over to this new release.
The song is energetic, fierce and raw, and the video more than matches up to it. Directed by esteemed film-maker Dan Shipton (who had a hand in putting together those Olympic Ceremonies), Kill Them was shot in one take round London’s Brick Lane – producing a video that is completely unique.
Kill Them Ep is out now on Skint Records and if this track is anything to go by – it’ll be a rough and ready ride with Run Riot.
