American fast fashion retailer, Forever 21 is set to put its prices even lower than before. The chain of stores, recently branched over into Europe and are starting to give other retailers a run for their money with their low-price trend driven pieces.
Forever 21 have revealed plans to open a new store in California, that will sell tank tops for $1.80 and jeans for $7.80 (that’s about £5 for a pair of jeans!). The new store, which will open in South Gate, is going to named F21 Red and the size of the space is enormous, with 18,000 square feet of retail heaven.
Don Chang, Forever 21’s founder and CEO had this to say about the new store:
“With F21 Red we are able to deliver greater quantities of the styles our customers seek, while maintaining the value with entry-level category price points Forever 21 is known for offering,”
Could this move have been made in preparation of the imminent move of Primark to the USA? The company have been planning to open stores in the North East of the USA for a few months, with the first opening in Boston in 2015.
