We had a quick Q&A with the band. Check out what happened here.
HTF: Your debut album was released digitally in December 2013, why are you releasing the album again on vinyl?
Grandview: We always intended to release on vinyl, it just took us a bit to get everything together.
HTF: How well received has the record been?
G: We’ve been hearing good things about the record, people seem to dig it.
HTF: Who inspired you musically whilst making the album?
G: McKayla Maroney
HTF: How much of the music on ‘Everything Between Paint And A Wall’ is personal extracts from your life?
G: The record is a reflection of ourselves.
HTF: When Grandview started you were all in your teens, how has the band grown with age?
G: Most of us are still in our teens, but we’re better on stage now.
HTF: You’re in the midst of a month long U.S tour, how is it going?
G: Tour is killer, we’re hitting all the beaches.
HTF: What do you guys do for fun as you move from state to state?
G: We do cas-curls, bis and tris every other day with core throughout the routine.
HTF: Who would Grandview love to tour with?
G: We want to tour with Lorde pretty badly.
HTF: When do you think you’ll be making it over to the UK?
G: We’ll be in the uk next winter, or the next one.
