The organisers of the popular Takedown Festival have called time on the annual event after six years.
Only this year, the festival held at Southampton University, boasted acts such as Mallory Knox, Arcane Roots, Rolo Tomassi and Fearless Vampire Killers.
The announcement was made via social media much to the dismay of rock fans hailing from the south coast.
However, where one door closes another opens, and if the cryptic clue at the bottom of the farewell note will have you believe, there could be something special happening in 2016.
