Summer is almost here, and that means the festival season is almost upon us. Instead of your Downloads, or your Reading and Leeds Festivals though, you can also gorge yourself on out and out metal at this year’s Bloodstock Festival. Bound to be the most metal filled weekend of the entire year, they’ve only gone and added more bands to their already stellar line-up.
Being added to the Sophie Lancaster stage we have Messiah’s Kiss, a band comprised of former Saxon and Tony Iommi session musicians, so with calibre like that you know they’re going to be good. Joining them on the stage includes Annihilated, Ageless Oblivion, The Izuna Drops and Alunah.
Bloodstock isn’t resting there though, as they’ve also announced a bunch of bands for the Jagermeister stage which will give you something new to go and check out. Joining the stage is prog instrumentalists The Parallax Method, Winter Storm, Knock Out Kaine, Blind Haze and more prog, this time of the Irish persuasion in Snowblind.
