Hevy Fest last year sadly had to call the year a write-off, but that doesn’t seem to have phased them, as they seem to have come back bigger better and and Hevyer (I’m sorry you should never be subjected to puns like these) than ever.
Already announced as UK exclusives were the unmistakably incredible Coheed and Cambria, and the returning Thrice, both of which are bound to make your weekend alone. Around those two though, Hevy have built an absolutely incredible line-up, and now more have been added. Judge, Ignite, A Wilhelm Scream, Teenage Bottlerocket, Arcane Roots, Carnifex, Crooks, Broken Teeth, Hang The Bastard, Black Peaks, Blood Youth, Trash Boat, Youth Man and Press To Meco have all been added to this already stellar line-up.
The big name coming from the latest announcement though comes in the form of Fall Of Troy who are using the time to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of possibly their most popular album Doppelganger. Choc full of tracks such as ‘F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X‘, ‘Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles‘ and ‘Whacko Jacko Steals the Elephant Man’s Bones‘, this really will be the set to see for any post-hardcore fan, as arguably The Fall of Troy are one of the best and most iconic bands to mould the genre.
