Season Five of Game of Thrones seems so long ago now and ever since last summer our bodies and minds have been aching for more action. With Season six teasing ever closer (yes we are counting down the days) we decided that it was high time we merged two of our favourite things: Game Of Thrones, and rock music. So we got to thinking about who from the world of rock and metal would fit best into this world and give the actors a break from representing their characters on screen. Here is what we decided. Brent Hinds (Mastodon) – Tormund Giantsbane
A nice easy one to start with. Brent has actually already been in Game Of Thrones, acting as a wildling in S5 E8 ‘Hardhome’. After all he already has the large ginger beard a few face tattoos never hurt any acting appearance, right? Mastodon also did the song ‘White Walker’ from the Catch The Throne Vol. 2 mixtape HBO put together, so we think it wouldn’t be that difficult to get him involved.
