Every kid has that dream of being a rockstar but not many actually manage to make it a reality.
Newbury metal band, The Mini Band, had their first taste of rock stardom recently as they were revealed they would open The Pit stage at this years Reading Festival. The band, all between the ages of 12-14, have been working hard gigging and recording this year and it seems their hard work has paid off as metal giants Metallica have even picked up on them.
We managed to catch up with the band, Harry Esson, Zoe Thomson, Harrison Read, Charlie Emmons and Archie Zolotuhin, to find out how the show went and see what advice they have for other young bands.
Make sure to keep up to date with the band at https://www.facebook.com/TheMiniBand and their new EP is available now.
