Ladies and gentlemen, at this time please let me introduce you to your new favourite band…….. The Human Project. Since 2010 the Leeds dwelling band have been tearing it up all over the UK and mainland Europe. If melodic hardcore punk rock is your thing then prepare to have your face smashed in.

This is a band made up of genius musicians: Vocalist/Guitarist Jonny Smith and Vocalist/Drummer Dan Powell who were both in the massively underrated Nana’s Revenge. Vocalist/Bassist Joe Dimuantes who used to bash the skins in UK ska-core legends Random Hand and Vocalist/Guitarist Luke Yates who is just a musical freak, able to play anything that is put in front of him as well as playing different instruments in bands such as Sounds Of Swami, Crazy Arm, Joe Tilston & The Embers Band among many others. This band is true UK punk rock pedigree. You may have also noticed how it says vocalist as well as the instrument each band plays. That is because all four members provide vocals in this band, creating some of the tightest harmonies you are likely to hear.

It seems, after years of toiling away on the live scene, in 2014 people are finally taking notice of how good this band are and with the release of the frankly awesome album Origins, The Human Project are picking up some serious steam and becoming a name to be reckoned with. This has earned the band some killer shows in the UK and Europe. Even being invited to the mainland to play as main support to the legendary A Wilhelm Scream.

Huge riffs, huge vocals and so so very tight, this band are a well oiled punk rock super-machine. If you are a fan of bands like Propagandhi, A Wilhelm Scream Bad Religion, Rise Against then you NEED this band in your life. The Human Project have proved over and over again that they can stand shoulder to shoulder with their peers and also show how vital the UK punk scene has become.

Why are you still here reading this? Surely i’ve given you enough to make you leap from this page and check the band out. Below is the fantastic video for their track ‘At What Point’. Get it watched, then search them out on facebook – , then show all your friends. Actually go see them live, it’s outstanding, also they are a UK punk band meaning they are pretty much always on the road. Once again ladies and gentlemen, I give you your new favourite band The Human Project. You’re welcome.
