Another week, yet another time for us to pull one of these lists out. Thank god for the constant outpour of new releases as we have a bunch of music videos to keep us busy with each week. As usual, we’ve compiled a list of a few of our favourites to have been revealed in the past week.
The Used – Rise Up Lights
Umm… this video is quite creepy, and at certain points quite revealing as well. It’s one of those things where because everything that’s going on is so weird, you can’t help but feel very intrigued. The track ‘Rise Up Lights’ is taken off of The Used‘s latest album The Canyon, released last month on Hopeless Records.
Hayley Williams – Nineteen (originally by Tegan & Sara)
Taken off of the compilation record Tegan & Sara Present The Con X: Covers, Hayley Williams has revealed an animated music video for her cover of ‘Nineteen’. The covers album has all proceeds going to The Tegan and Sara Foundation, which fights for health, economic justice, and representation for LGBTQ girls and women. Also appearing on the compilation are City and Colour, PVRIS and Bleachers to name a few.
Crossfaith – Rockstar Steady
This summer Crossfaith released their new EP Freedom, from which their latest single ‘Rockstar Steady’ is pulled. The track features Jesse from The Bonez/ Rize, and Enter Shikari‘s Rou Reynolds also makes an appearance on the EP. Check out their new video below, which happens to showcase a lot of fast cars.
Speak The Truth…Even If Your Voice Shakes – Everyone You Love Will Slip Away From Yo
We all love a supergroup, don’t we? Speak The Truth…Even If Your Voice Shakes is one that features Alex Linares, Alex Pappas and Daniel Wonacott of Finch as well as Senses Fail‘s Buddy Nielsen. The band have uneveiled their new track with a title almost as long as their band name ‘Everyone You Love Will Slip Away From You’. Watch the video-game inspired music video right here:
Story Untold – Drown In My Mind
In anticipation of the release of their album Waves, set for release February 2nd 2018, Story Untold have given us a glimpse of what’s to come with their latest music video for ‘Drown In My Mind’. It’s got a pretty eerie vibe, and we’re absolutely digging it.
