2014 was an eventful year for Grime and we were lucky enough to catch up with two people who each made a big impact on the scene in their own ways, Meridian Dan and Big H!
Meridian Dan bought grime to the masses last year with his huge hit ‘German Whip’ featuring JME & Big H and breathed a new lease of life into the genre seeing him rise to fame and securing a high placing slot at last years Reading Festival on the 1Xtra stage. Following up with even more big tunes such as ‘I’m From A Place’ and ‘One Two Drinks’, 2015 could be an exciting year for Dan.
Big H made an impact last year after his controversial Lord Of The Mics appearance battling against P Money. Love him or hate him, Big H has got himself out there and, with the release of his album ‘Radioactive’ on its way, it’s going to be interesting to see where the hype will take him!
We chat with the guys about their first house parties, discuss how H hated sitting in his high chair as a kid, Dan tells us about the time someone messed with his birthday cake and we learn about H’s Ryu skills!
