So, emo kingpins Jimmy Eat World have announced a handful of UK tour dates, and we’re just a little bit massively overexcited at the prospect of seeing them play at a venue near us!
With their eighth studio album Integrity Blues on the way, and after releasing new songs ‘Get Right’ and ‘Sure and Certain’ we’re not sure if we can wait all the way until November to see them play.
Here are the November tour dates:
04 – SOUTHAMPTON Guildhall
05 – LONDON Troxy
07 – DUBLIN Olympia
08 – BELFAST Limelight
09 – GLASGOW Barrowland
10 – MANCHESTER Academy
19 – BRISTOL Academy
20 – BIRMINGHAM Academy
In the meantime, how about we look at 5 songs we can’t wait to hear live to get us even more excited? [/tps_header]
The Middle
It’s a classic, but we couldn’t leave it out! The Middle optimises the emo period in all of our lives, but without being cringe-y. It’s got a catchy riff, the perfect sing-a-long lyrics, and best of all their almost guaranteed to play it at their UK shows. That’s a hat trick of goodness!
