Me First & the Gimme Gimmes
Even if you haven’t heard of this band you would of heard of the band members. A true punk rock supergroup who have been around for the past 20 years releasing albums and touring their punk covers of true classics. Everything from ‘Stand By Your Man’ to ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ has been covered by possibly the greatest wedding/bar mitzvah (they actually have played and recorded a live album at a kids Bar Mitzvah) ever.
As we mentioned earlier, they are also a punk rock supergroup that features Fat Mike (NOFX), Chris Shifflet (Foo Fighters), Joey Cape/Dave Raun (Lagwagon) and Spike Slawson (Swinging Utters) . Eight albums into their career this is one novelty band where the joke just doesn’t seem to get old.
