Voting Has Begun For Red Bull Studios Chance For Unsigned Bands To Play Download

Get voting for who you want to play Download Festival this summer. Check out the 15 finalists right here.

A mighty 700 bands entered in total and the top 100 were voted but you guys whilst the final 15 were whitteled down by the judges who are Katie P (Kerrang! Radio Presenter), Rock Sound Magazine Editor Ben Patashnik, Red Bull Records label manager Angie Somerside alongside one of the biggest bands at the moment Don Broco.

The 15 finalists have been announced, the bands have made clips of tracks at the Red Bull Studio’s and fans can vote for their favourites. The top 8 acts will then get to perform on the Red Bull stage at this summer’s Download Festival. 

The top 6 bands through the public votes will get through whilst the final 2 spots will be chosen as ‘wildcards’ and favouries by the judges.  Here are the 15 finalists and their videos.

The first 6 winners will be announced this Saturday (25th) at 5pm and the final 2 judges wildcards will be announced via studio instagram @RedBullStudiosLondon. Good luck to all the bands! Make up your mind and vote here.  But be quick you’ve not got long to vote!

Forever can wait

Akord

Semperfi are a metal band from all the way up in Aberdeen who have already supported the likes of Chimaira in their hometown. They’ve got a debut album but only your votes will get them to Download!

Searching Alaska
