Brand New – Deja Entendu
Deja Entendu was released when I was fourteen, when I had already fallen in love with alternative music and going through all of the moody teen angst and emotions that we all do. The lyrics of every song and the emotion that sits behind them is incredible. I would listen to it every day as I blasted this through my Walkman on the school bus, in my bedroom and with friends whilst we screamed the lyrics back at the CD player. 15 years on and I still listen to this album at least once a week. I’m still a massive emo at heart and get a massive release when I listen to this album.
