With our favourite MySpace bands having double-digit anniversaries and reunions, and emo nights popping up everywhere, we are feeling incredibly nostalgic. And considering the emo-revival these past couple of years, it’s safe to say that we’re not the only ones.
But we here at Mosh know that emo/alt isn’t a thing that comes in and out of style, we know it’s a lifestyle. And we also know that MySpace was a much simpler, enjoyable time. We had Tom in our Top 8, choppy bangs, way too much eyeliner, and an angsty selection of emo rock tunes.
We also had nicknames that contained a questionable amount of uppercase and lowercase letters. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about AlExiSATsIX. You too xXPRinCeSsPArAlyZexX.
