Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock (or travelling to a far distant planet) the past two weeks, you’ll know that Corey Taylor featured in BBC’s Doctor Who recently.
The Slipknot frontman lent his iconic screams to The Fisher King – a scary new foe of the current Doctor, Peter Capaldi.
Its no secret that Corey is a huge Whovian, but in an interview with Kerrang!, he said he wouldn’t make a good Doctor.

Matt Bellamy (Muse)
He’s got the looks. He’s got the quintessentially British accent. He’s got the quirky outfits. Yes, we think Muse’s very own Matt Bellamy would make a smashing Doctor. Series 9 has seen producers give the Doctor a rock n’ roll makeover – equipped with Sonic Sunglasses and an electric guitar to match. Who better to take that persona than one of the UK’s most admired rock gods?
