Australia’s biggest rock event, Soundwave, have made their first announcement regarding the line-up in January. The festival takes place across three days and three locations from the 23rd to 26th of January next year and their are already some big names on the list. British bands are making up a nice proportion so far with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine and Moose Blood preparing to hit Aussie shores. This announcement got us thinking though, with the amazing line-up so far, who else would we love to see thrown into the mix? We’ve put together a list of 10 bands we think should play Soundwave 2016.
5 Seconds Of Summer
These lads are native to the land of Aus anyway, and with their new album Sounds Good Feels Good rocketing up charts the world over, it’s the perfect opportunity. There’s no doubt that as fans of the scene 5SOS would love to play the renowned festival, and AJ Maddah, the festival promoter, has even said he would consider booking them. Fingers crossed!
