Another week has passed where it seems to have been a productive week of bands spewing out new material our way. As ever, we’ve got plenty of stuff to keep us occupied all weekend, but in case you’ve blinked and missed it here’s the lowdown on this week’s best new music.

August Burns Red – The Frost

In case we weren’t fully aware that the cold weather’s really upon us, August Burns Red are thoughtfully giving us a reminder with their new video: the aptly titled ‘The Frost’. The track is taken off the band’s forthcoming album Phantom Anthem, dropping October 6th.

ROAM – Alive

This one’s not really for the faint hearted. However, it is one for fans of all things creepy and if you wanted Halloween to come early then look no further than ROAM‘s new video for ‘Alive’. Snakes, spiders, haunting visuals – they really didn’t hold back.

7 Minutes In Heaven – LOTL

Chicago band 7 Minutes In Heaven recently released their EP Symmetry, out now via Rude Records, and their latest single to be pulled from it is ‘LOTL’. This music video is an absolute whirlwind and to be honest we’re not too sure what it all means. There’s a mustache-sporting guy chilling on the couch, spilled slurpees, a bonfire… and in the end we still got sucked into the storyline.

The Gospel Youth – Kids

The Gospel Youth are just about rounding off their current UK tour and have now released their new music video for ‘Kids’, pulled from the band’s latest release Always Lose. In true The Gospel Youth fashion, it’s an absolute banger.

Lights – New Fears

Lights‘ new album/ comic book combo Skin&Earth is finally here, and shortly before the release the Canadian singer revealed the beautiful music video for ‘New Fears’. Having always placed a focus on her visuals, Lights has definitely taken it up a notch with this new album.

A Day To Remember – We Got This

A true testament to their time on the road, A Day To Remember has released their new live video for ‘We Got This’, which according to the band is “dedicated to the magic of live music”. With footage dating back all the way to 2009, watch as the band has grown on the road as well as the traditions that have beocme ingrained in their live shows.

Broadside – I Love You, I Love You. It’s Disgusting.

Probably the cutest track on this list – Broadside has just dropped their video for ‘I Love You, I Love You. It’s Disgusting’. Frontman Ollie Baxter explains: “This is a song for romantics. When you’re in love, you feel consumed in its warmth. I’m happy knowing that I’ve contributed to a very long list of love songs. Also, how fucking cute do ukulele’s sound?!”

Santa Cruz – Young Blood Rising

Finnish rockers Santa Cruz have revealed ‘Young Blood Rising’, which was the last track they wrote before hitting the studio. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming third album Bad Blood Rising due to be released 10th November on M-Theory Audio.
