If you have been caught up in the hustle and bustle of the massive retail event that is Black Friday, chances are you may have missed a new music video or two this week. In order to keep you in the loop, we’ve made a little recap of all the new tracks you need to be checking out.

The Xcerts – Hold On To Your Heart

Scottish band The Xcerts‘ new album Hold On To Your Heart is being released on 19th January. Their video for a track of the same name, is pretty straightforward but it is very visually pretty to look at. Get excited for the band’s new released and check out the song below:

Conjurer – The Mire

Conjurer have unveiled the new video for their track ‘The Mire’, which takes inspiration from a 14th century poem called ‘Lyke-Wake Dirge’, detailing what happens to a soul after death. The band are currently touring the UK supporting Armed For Apocalypse, but they will also be playing a handful of release shows following the release of their album Mire in January.

Sikth – The Aura

This summer Sikth released their album The Future In Whose Eyes?, where their track ‘The Aura’ features. Of the track and video, Mikee W Goodman shares  “The Aura was initially lyrically inspired by a day I spent with a magical being. It then spiralled into dreamscape memories and reflections. I tried to bring this out in the music video.”

I Prevail – Already Dead

There seems to be no escaping internet trolls these days, but if you’re specifically interested in seeing one try to take on I Prevail, make sure to check out their new video for ‘Already Dead’. Here’s the best part of the video – said internet troll is none other than Tenacious D‘s Kyle Gass.

Green Day – 2000 Light Years Away

For a nice little whiff of nostalgia, we have Green Day to count on. The trio have released a music video for their track ‘2000 Light Years Away’. The track is over 25 years old now, so it’s only fitting that the video features footage from what literally seems like light years ago. Check out young Green Day rocking out right here:
