5. Weezer might not have got to Beverly Hills, but they did make it to Hollywood…
It warms our childhood hearts to know that Weezer have been part of some of our favourite animated movie franchises in the past, lending their knack for catchy pop-rock to the movie world. They were featured on the Shrek Forever After soundtrack covering The Monkees ‘I’m a Believer’ (which almost never made it, as Weezer suffered a bus accident back in 2009 that left their involvement hanging in the balance) and recorded a cover of ‘You Might Think’ for the Cars 2 soundtrack.
