Next week’s see’s the Jägermeister Music Tour kick off in Liverpool featuring UK Ska punk legends Capdown who have come out from hibernation to join Me First & The Gimme Gimme’s and The Skints.
Capdown called it a day and played a final show in 2008. Since then the band have made a few select feature appearances including Slam-dunk Festivals in 2010 and Reading and Leeds in 2011.
Bassist Boobs explains why the band decided to join the Jägermeister Music Tour: “We’re not really a band anymore so to get the chance to go out and play with the Gimmies and the Skints again was too good to turn down. We’ve played with both bands before so looking forward to getting back in touch with some old friends.
To celebrate the shows we have some special prizes. Two winners will bag themselves a pair of tickets to any show of their choice, a lanyard and a Me First & The Gimme Gimme’s album. One of those winners will also win a wager goodie bag including tins, sweatbands, a hoodie, flags and a t. shirt
