Back in 1996 Finnish rockers Apocalyptica released a debut album of epic proprtions, Plays Metallica By Four Cello. The instrumental, cello-driven rock changed the landscape of heavy music for decades to come and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album the band have re-released a remastered version of their debut which includes three additional bonus tracks. The remastered version gives fans the chance to revisit a novel take on one of the world’s biggest metal bands and contains never-before released instrumental recordings of Battery, Nothing Else Matters and Seek & Destroy. You’ve never heard anything like this before.
To celebrate the re-release of the album the band are playing three special shows later this month to celebrate hitting up Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on 27th February, Edinburgh Queens Hall on 28th and the London Royal Festival Hall on 1st March.
We have a pair of tickets for both the Manchester or London show alongside a signed copy of the remastered Plays Metallica By Four Cello’s CD.
