Mary Katrantzou has revealed her second collection for Adidas Originals.
One of the reasons we love Katrantzou is that she isn’t snooty about catering for the lower ends of the shopping scale. Of course, she still works with the best of the best; after a successful collaboration with Topshop, Katranztou teamed up with Adidas Originals for the first time back in late 2014.
The Greek designer’s latest offerings for the sportswear giant are as colourful as you’d expect, while her prints draw on the sports theme by taking inspiration from tennis racquets, boxing gloves and shuttlecocks. The cuts and shapes of the clothing – comprising everything from t-shirts and shorts to Katrantzou’s wacky interpretation of a tennis dress – have left us feeling some serious 80s vibes.
